Concept - Illuminating Nature’s Network
Rooted connections is a unique audiovisual installation, built in a natural landscape with open fields and ancient oak trees. utilizing a network of fiber optic strings and a light source, the result is a forest of electric tree roots and fields of luminesscent flowers. The installation was supported by a custom enchanting sound design to match the scenery while visitors explored the grounds.
Purpose
This installation symbolizes the hidden communication that occurs within ecosystems. By showcasing the electric signals exchanged between plants, we draw attention to the intricate web of life.
